Running Zones calculator

How we calculate ?

We utilize a methodology based on your threshold speed. This is the speed you can sustain for a period of time. From there, we are trying to find your Lactate Threshold Heart Rate (LTHR). This threshold is the point at which blood lactate accumulates and lactate clearance is unable to keep up with lactate production. Translated, your muscles start to feel fatigued and you cannot keep up with the pace. So, once you do your Running Test, Your LTHR can be found by completing a VDOT test.
